Jaime Luna is a Medical Epidemiologist and Clinical Researcher on the team and has expertise in conducting observational studies following evidence-based medicine standards. He has been involved in several research projects using retrospective healthcare databases, prospective cohorts, and patient registers in close collaboration with academic research groups and the pharmaceutical industry. Jaime has actively participated in different stages of the research circle including scientific conception, methodological design, protocol development, monitoring data collection and data management, statistical analysis, and scientific communications and publications.

Prior to joining Cytel, Jaime served as an Epidemiologist at the University Hospital Center in Limoges and he was part of the Research Unit Inserm, U1094 of the National Institute of Health and Medical Research in France.

Jaime attended the University of Limoges in France receiving an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Clinical research. He had previously completed his medical training at the Central University of Ecuador receiving his Medical Degree M.D.
